Q. How do I check my mail
through the internet or if I am not at my primary computer?
In addition to using an email client program (Outlook
Express, etc...), you can access your email account over the
web. You can do this using any web browser, at any time, on any
internet connection such as from work, school, the library, etc.
Here's how to use webmail
- At the location or address
field in your browser, type the following:
http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail/
(Note: Make sure you replace "yourdomain.com" with your
own domain name.)
- When prompted, type in your username and
password and then hit the OK
button.
Note: Your username is your full email address. (e.g.,
name@yourdomain.com)
The first time you login to the webmail program, you will be
prompted to enter your full name, preferences, and a signature.
After this, you should see a display showing a summary of your
email messages. From this screen you can send, reply, forward,
or delete; it acts as any other email program. You can also
write new messages (click "Compose") and print your email.
